They first tried the import with another company
The customer came to us after starting the import process with another company. He shared that they were slow to respond and frequently changed the process, leaving him frustrated. This was a familiar story, as we experienced similar issues during our first car import after moving to Portugal.
You Don’t Need To Give Your Finance Portal Login Information
The process had stalled because the customer couldn’t access his Finance Portal after losing his password. Bring the plug-in cable to the inspection
The customer had already collected most of the documents and completed the inspection. However, he mentioned that during the first inspection attempt, he was sent home because he didn’t bring the plug-in charging cable. Once he retrieved it, the car passed the inspection.
We finalized the import process and surprised the customer by providing the DAV with his new Portuguese license plate number within just four days of submitting the final documents. The entire process went smoothly from there.
